The Digital Nomad
I created walkingwired.com to provide
information to the nomad who uses electronics. It came out of my research
for journaling systems for my hike of the Pacific
Crest Trail, and then my
research for hiking the Continental
Divide Trail. It has expanded a bit to
include more than just gadgets.Walking Wired exists to share knowledge about
effective electronic communication when you don't have your full-sized, or
even notebook, computer in front of you.
It also exists as a resouce for my computer clients. I provide one-on-one computer
assistance and web-site development. This site is simple because I'm busy working
on other sites. More info on my consulting
I hope this site will eventually features tips and products for roving
people. My "reviews" contain information for users to make their
own evaluations and decisions based on their needs. I know the presentation
is pretty grim right now, but the information's good.
